Linda attended Northern Michigan University and Century College where she completed her associate’s degree in accounting, including several credit hours in tax course work. She started Linda’s Accounting Service because she wanted to be at home with her two sons when they had their breaks from school. Her sons are now in college and she decided to grow her accounting and tax business, and to offer her daughter, Christine, a position that afforded her flexibility with her job and family. They relocated the business to Vadnais Heights and continue to expand their accounting, tax preparation, and financial planning services to new business and personal clients.

She began her accounting career 25 years ago with the Norwest Banks (now Wells Fargo) in their commercial lending department. Over the years, she discovered she enjoys working with businesses and helping them achieve their goals by giving them a handle on their financial well being by providing accurate accounting, assets management, depreciation, cash flow projections and tax planning information.

Her passion for tax preparation came from a desire to work with her friends in the Christian community who are Ministers of Religion (teachers or pastors) and help them make sound decisions unique to their tax situation. She takes 26 continuing education hours each year to keep pace with tax codes and her understanding of the IRS Rules and Regulations.

Linda is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers, The Minnesota Chapter of Enrolled Agents, and The Association of Professional Bookkeepers. She has completed her certification as an IRS enrolled agent and is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
